The USA
My trip started in San Fran with my great friends Debbie Clarkson and Sue Norbury we had a wonderful time spending lots of money watch out for the new outfits  

We also spent a night at Saltillo which was amazing our room over looked the San Fran Harbor and we spent the night drinking champagne, a fantastic time.

We then headed to Boston where we meet Rosemary and John, what a great city Boston is. We hired a car and headed to Newport for a couple of day had a fantastic time.

Then off to Warwick Rhode Island for the National we got to watch the dogs at both the specialty show, top Twenty and WCA Nationals. The weather was cold and winding but the sun finally showed itself towards the end of the week. We saw some lovely dogs being shown. A huge congratulations to all at Ashlaren (Lanine, Warren and Rachel) & Davora (Debbie & Dave) on seeing their dog Ch Davora Bremar Mark of Ashlaren “Mark” winning the Maturity what a fantastic win he also took Res Winner dog at the WCA National can’t wait for him to arrive into Australia.
 
Well done to team Marg on another BIS Specialty it was great to see so many lovely Best of Breed winners. Some of my favorite’s shots of the dogs are below; unfortunately I was not in the best spot to take photos this year but still some good shots.

Thanks to Shellie for bringing Konnie down to see us, she is looking wonderful and there where some lovely comments on her being a Longhair and all

United Kingdom

After the USA we headed to Italy where we had a wonderful time spent a week in a Villa in Tuscany it was just lovely. We headed to Florence where we saw a Weimaraner in the square. We then spent a week in Sorrento south of Italy it was spectacular.

Then we headed to the UK where we spent some time in West Sussex, Cornwell then to Windsor to the Dog show.

There where over 100 Weimaraners entered. Best of Breed -Sh Ch Gunalt Unstoppable from Mianja

There where so many shops!! It was lovely to see Naomi’s Australian breed Hungarian Vizsla Sh Ch Aust Ch Hungargunn Bear It’nMind (Imp Aust) win Best in Group! I love this shot of him.



Thanks so much to Patsy for having us for lunch and meeting all the grey crew also to Gary for bringing his lovely boy down for us to meet.

Sweden

Our trip to Sweden was wonderful firstly a huge thank you to Kristina and Perarne @ Pasquinel's Weimaraners for looking after us so well and having something organised for us everyday we had the best time.
It was so nice to finally meet all my friends who I have corresponded with over the years and see all the dogs. What a great opportunity to go to Sweden and have so many European dogs there in one spot.

I was also proud to see what an influence the Australian imports have had on the breed in Europe winners at both the Circuit shows out of 2 Australian imports well done to Lainie (Ashlaren) and Val and Narelle (Greydove) you must be very proud
Thursday we headed off the to the World Continental Gundog Show Judge Mrs Ann Carlstrom (Sweden).

Saturday the world dog show World dog show Judge Mr F Kane (UK) he did an excellent job with the breed there where some lovely dogs there

The world dog show was the highlight of my trip so many dogs it was just amazing, but the most thrilling part of the day was seeing the Weimaraners from Italy winning Best Brace they looked absolutely stunning showing the world how stunning Weimaraners are and of course the BOB and Group2 winner Gracie!! Casa de Juno Amazing Grace what a stunner she is i could of packed her into my suitcase she looked super. After the group judging I ran into other people from Australia with other breeds and they all commented on how lovely the Weimaraner was so well done Rute and Joe

Sunday a rest day for us!!
Monday we headed to a field and water retrieving trail, it was great to see the Weimaraners in action and the runs similar to ours.
Tuesday we headed back into Stockholm for a day in the city, Stockholm is a lovely city we had a great day.
Wednesday we spent the day at the Zoo thanks to Sandra for orgainising our visit up close and personal with the wolfs and tigers....
Thursday we spent the day out in the fields with the dogs as they undertook some field training.

It was great to spend sometime with Magda and Kris from Fala Love'a Weimaraners, Kobie and Ronnie and Ginger and to meet so many other breeders everyone was so friendly and so enthusiastic about our wonderful breed.

I thought the dogs where just lovely all the breeders all over Europe are doing a great job so well done.

Now I hope to see you all in Australia in 2010 for our National!!!
